It’s not their fault but they are not any good. Leavitt is 63 years old I seriously doubt he is going to be the same bad ass that he was 15 years ago. If he can recruit I would give it consideration but an inner city kid is going to look at him and say that’s an old white guy. We need a young vigorous coach who can sell recruits on his vision of an up tempo offense. I don’t know how to repost tweets but look up Steven Bench and Johnny Ward on Trevon Griffin The Bench tweet was posted here last night.

We have to get out of G5 some how or it will be like this for a long time. Most coaches use us as a stepping stone to greener pastures, which puts us right back to square one. Most??? USF has had 4 football coaches over 22 years...only 1 (WT) left for greener pastures; 2 were fired, and 1 needs to be fired!

Perfect analogy, he never had the intelligence to be a head coach and he is lazy and disinterested as well. This is the hat trick for epic failure. Texastrong Posted September 30, 2019 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 11 Reputation: 3 Days Won: 0 Joined: 12/12/2016 Share Posted September 30, 2019 I was wondering how you guys felt. I posted here when Strong was hired and at the time didn't say much. I can tell you, he left a dumpster fire at Texas and all we can wonder is how he won all those games at UL. The kids for the most part loved him, but, that is because he was very easy on them. He started out by running off a bunch of players and we thought he was going to be just what the program needed. But as soon as he did that he started letting the kids run the program again. Special teams was his baby, yet, they were pathetic. When you lose to Kansas. you need to look for a new career. And no, he does not need to be a DC either. I am not even sure he likes the job anymore.
