Fire Strong and our futility continues because of new coaches, schemes, philosophy, etc.

Don't fire Strong and we get to watch this the rest of the season.  Strong possibility that it continues to next season.

Stinks for our program either way.  We have to get out of G5 some how or it will be like this for a long time.  Most coaches use us as a stepping stone to greener pastures, which puts us right back to square one.

I’d settle for competing in the G5 at this point.

It may be no-win, but the leader (AD) has to decide what is best for the long term.

Strong has no future here. It is absolutely a win to fire him. In the long term, it has a better upside.

I was happy with the Strong hire. Every year he has been here the team has gotten worse. This is his third year...where we should be seeing "his guys" take over. I've seen enough.

Get rid of him early, get a hot coordinator before they are taken by someone else.

Conference has nothing to do with it. You think the best coach ever at iowa state would turn down a chance to coach at ohio state? Theres always a bigger program.

We need TRUST of the fan base. Athletics seems to always shoot itself in the foot. Strongs contract as drawn up by USF is 1000 times more problematic than our conference.

USF lost Willie Taggart to greener pastures...got Charlie Strong!

UCF lost Scott Frost to greener pastures...got Josh Heupel!

Yup, the G5 is the problem.

The irony of all ironies is that we're stuck with a Coach who has no prayer of using us as a stepping stone. We are saddled with this until WE do something about it. McNeese St. ain't bailing us out of this one. And no P5 program in their right mind is coming for him either.

We are in a no-win situation against fbs teams, as evidenced by our 0-9 record verse our last 9 fbs opponents.
