I’m pretty sure retread would involve getting fired for failing, that’s never happened to CJL.

Agreed, CJL has the tough love to reach these Players and a passion for USF.

These players have little talent. It’s not their fault but they are not any good. Leavitt is 63 years old I seriously doubt he is going to be the same bad ass that he was 15 years ago. If he can recruit I would give it consideration but an inner city kid is going to look at him and say that’s an old white guy. We need a young vigorous coach who can sell recruits on his vision of an up tempo offense.

Retread....

No to Nick Saban, Dabo Swinney, Lincoln Riley or even Guz Malzahn.  Let's just hire the UCF O-cooordinator.

Let me know when those giants come calling. The ucf O Coordinator will probably replace one of those guys someday...certainly the HC might,

CBG is an old white guy isn't he? Granted he's my age, not Leavitt age. But he manages to connect and motivate his student athletes in a way that eludes CCS despite being an old white guy.

BG is 52 years old and has a completely different personality than JL. More intellectual and in control. He recruits players just like him and it works.

Then don't act like anyone with head coaching experience is somehow damaged.  Wise up.

Don't let your biases impact your thoughts.
