I understand, @puc86 and I occasionally appear to tag team on these issues- only natural to bring him in, but attributing your words to him?  You may be under his mind control.

I’ll try to fix when I get home.

I have no idea what you are talking about?  Tried to jump in the conversation late. Feeble attempt at humor fell flat, not sure what Puc has to do with it, my words they just weren’t my best work.    @puc86 is legendary and an inspiration to us all    however not sure why you tied him in to the conversation.

Got it, I officially shat the bed.  I am one of those fortunate souls that don’t care and will come back with a vengeance or with equally lame commentary, but I will not be silenced no matter how humiliating the experience.

He is learning but I can’t support being humiliated. The proper response is to blame everyone else for their inability to understand the point you are trying to make. Just blame and deflect until people give up but never ever suggest that you can be wrong or made a mistake.

Reminds me of the legendary line by Rev. Jim in Taxi when taking his driver's test. Question on the form "Alcohol or Drug addition?"

Jim "I don't know, that's a tough choice".

I skipped the previous pages, but the gist of this is that you should be eligible for the NY6 game without winning the AAC? The argument is, we don't play **** during our conference schedule and so winning it should be the benchmark for making the big times. Have we ever had a team that was ranked higher and clearly better than the rest of the AAC but didn't win the conference? The P5 is pretty much saying that if you can't run the AAC gauntlet of our mediocre teams, you're probably not good enough to play with the big boys. I mean, let's say it's next year and we beat Wisconsin, GA Tech and BYU, run the table in conference, and lose to a 10-2 Memphis team in the finals. In all likelihood, we'd come in #15 or so starting with unranked to begin the year and they'd be 20 something. With the loss, we'd fall to 20 something and everyone would put us behind them anyway. What's the argument? It's not like the rankings are ever going to even remotely reflect anything other than our record and the AAC champ will always get the highest ranking. It's a moot point.
