It's the one where the winner gets this ....image.png.2f2a01fe3465b90ed293b68b310f236a.png

Do we get a new one each time or do we have to pass it back and forth? If we get a cone a year then in 50,000 years it may have been worth playing them once depending on how bad inflation gets.

The programs are in two different places but Michael Kelly is doing a great job imo.

They are actually in the same place but just at different levels of success at this time.... and agree about Kelly so far, hoping he's the one to finally tap financially into the alumni/fanbase/area enough to allow us to do things we need done going forward.

Passes back and forth so it can nicely age, like the Old Oaken Bucket ...... maybe the winning team can drag it behind the team bus back to campus each year to help that aging process.

Or we can just go back to never playing them again and completely ignoring them, either way.

It is not just football. Have you seen the War on I-4 overall point total? USF has a ways to go. Hopefully can get there fast.

However the biggest reason for this is due to our sorry ass track and field programs. We give up 11 points to ucf in that stupid trophy contest every year...

Agree.  We once held ourselves up to UF, FSU and Miami, but those of weak heart and mind spinelessly retreated and wanted USF to retreat to a lower tier.  We had bold aspirations replaced by effortless mediocrity.

Actually comparing anything to UCF’s brief, recent AAC success is a fool’s game.

We used to aim for the stars and even if we never quite got there we would get higher than anyone imagined possible and there was a feeling that in any Saturday we could beat anyone and one day we would be the ones everyone was aiming to beat. That we have fallen so far that anyone would aim for UCF speaks a lot more to the gutter we found ourselves than to any mountain they have climbed, if UCF is all we can dream of at this juncture I think we maybe far too short stacked to be trying to play at the FBS table.

So we just forfeit one conference game a year and hope we can overcome the handicap?

Meh...we’ve only been within one game of a conference championship once, that I can remember. UConn 15 years ago?
