Looks like there will be more scheduling news on top of the newly annouced Miami games

All it is, is that the dates of the games were announced

While we are cashing in deals, someone call Louisville and see if they will give us a steak dinner to drop all three games of that contract. (I am on record, that 2 for 1 was a bad deal for USF from day 1; while Texas and UF 2 for 1's were good deals for USF).

If they don't want to give up a steak dinner, I'd settle for a happy meal.

I certainly like playing Louisville, but the 2 for 1's should be the elite teams, probably about 25 schools out there, that are both elite and make sense for us. (for example, I wouldn't take one from Oregon, even though their reputation deserves it, because I don't want us to go all the way to Oregon twice)

Here are my 2 for 1 list:

SEC: Florida, LSU, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Texas A&M, Tennessee

ACC: FSU, Clemson (I would put Miami on here, but I am holding out hope for a 1 for 1, and if we take a 2 for 1, we will never get a 1 or 1 again)

Big 10: Michigan, Penn State, Ohio State, Nebraska, Michigan State, Rutgers (just kidding), Wisconsin, Iowa

Big 12: Oklahoma, Texas

Independent: Notre Dame

Pac 10: USC, UCLA

1 for 1s are long gone...we got to take what we can get.

I am good with this Miami series. Doubt they complete the series after we take them down in Miami 🤘

I agree. Plus with three games, we are always guaranteed at least one of those games will be played. We gotta take whatever we can get...and beat them.

10:53 A.M.: Miami schedules 2 for 1 with USF; more news to follow.

11:53 A.M.: Breaking: Miami cancels 3-game series with USF; Miami announces 3-game home series with FAMU. Will pay $1.5 million penalty.

2 for 1s are awful, I’ll hang up a listen.

That's why we need to win the conference AND a "national championship." That way we can be more selective and the P5s will be banging down our door for a 1 and 1.

I believe you'll see more of these in the future. Anyone who still believes partnering with ESPN is in our best interest has their eyes closed and are wearing rose colored glasses.

You'll see more cancelations in the near future as ESPN and the P5 don't want US or any G5 team to have a schedule that could sniff the Playoffs just in case by some miracle we/they run the table. Mark my words, this is yet another step in the already surmounting exclusionary tactics pushed by ESPN. I fully expect Miami to utilize the cancelation/buy-out clause in this contract if our offense is as good as we hope it is. We will be hard pressed to get even one P5 on our schedule per year soon.  {Yeah I wrote it!}
