He is back at Mayo, and he walked with no assisted  device today. 5 months in the making.

That's awesome news.  I hope to see him on the field again one day.  Fun player to watch (except for 1 game a year) and a great kid to boot. Sending good vibes his way

Maturity far beyond his years, love the realistic attitude--not too positive, not negative, not in a tremendous hurry, and CLEARLY trying to learn all about the technical side of the injury and recovery. That's cool. Whatever happens, I think he'll be fine if he can keep the bigger life picture in front of him. I hope to see him on Sundays, I'll root for him.

Glad he is back but that is not the same QB nor will he be. Frankly, in my opinion, it’s kind of crazy for him to be out there looking at that brace. It would seem one good hit could be catastrophic.

Happy to see him out there but agree with NEB that I'd rather not ever see him get hit in anger in a game again. Would be too painful to see but it is his life and choices.

Not sure he will ever play again, but I think he has to try and for that, I salute him.

Nothing but respect for him, but no more football. That’s just foolish.

That really is the point, I like the kid and wish him the best.  He will not ever be the same player but what a rush to play at that level, hope he recovers and comes back to play well and then loses to us.
