Nobody interested?  Can’t find enough quarters dimes and nickels in the couches at the Selmon athletic center?  Been almost 4 weeks and nothing except for a tweet from Newberg about Kerwin Bell.  CCS has 4 assistant positions to fill and recruiting is about to get back in full swing.

Possibly:

1) They are waiting for all the NFL coaching fallout to take place and see what is available.

OR

2) They are on vacation and have been since the bowl.

Maybe he is going along with the government shutdown and won’t do any hiring in protest.

Maybe CCS is having issues unbuttoning that top button.

Does anyone see an obvious hire? If not, no problem waiting to see how all the coaching changes shake out and what the landscape looks like. How about Dirk Koetter for a season until he gets himself another college head coaching job?  🙂

Dave I want some of what your drinking. Guys, the the gravity of this drag on is that our OC is gonna be Burke.  What are the chances that Chuck retires?

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
