so you're good without him getting his day in court? the man can just decide to take your wages?  ok

yes the man can do that. don't pay your taxes and see what the man can do. don't pay your student loans and see what the man can do. don't pay your traffic tickets and see what the man can do.

you do know they take your wages in the form of taxes and there is nothing you can do, right?

I was given a ticket. stuffed it in my glove box and forgot all about it. they issued a bench warrant. I obviously didn't show. They then sent a PO to my house to arrest me. all for a $100 ticket for rolling through a stop sign.

In the state of Florida? Because in the state of Florida running a stop sign is a moving violation not a criminal violation. So that had to be another state.

And for a court date to be initially given on a ticket it has to be a criminal offense meaning the kid had a suspended license and knew it but drove anyway and got caught. Knowingly driving while license suspended or revoked.

So this thread has turned into a speech about “I pay taxes”, “my property rights”, and “looking out for the man” ? Good lord let’s just put on some country music, throw an American flag up and call it a day....

it's dumb to put people in JAIL over unpaid traffic tickets.

Jail is for dumb people who do stupid things.

When you bring facts into the equation, it totally ruins the story. But it would be fun to believe cops were picking people up from their homes for unpaid tickets.

How smart is someone who gets caught doing stupid things?
