Anyone still think Ray Jay is our stadium?

I'm all-in for the on-campus stadium, but let's all step away from the edge of the Skyway on this UCF thing. Sports are cyclical. It's their "up" cycle right now. They won't maintain it. UF hasn't. FSU hasn't. UM hasn't. I give them one more year with Milton behind center, then it's back to Earth. Theirs is not a perennial Top 25 program.

Anyone who slams UCF, their program, their stadium, etc. is quite obviously a petty and jealous human being.  They are 20 times the quality of what we are in just about every way at this stage— and it’s the same small-minded thinking that some here display that has gotten us to this point of being UCF’s dimwitted loser cousin.

If fans enjoy the Ray Jay so much; they should make the extra trip on Sunday to watch the Bucs play... smh

I can't agree with this; because UCF's up cycles have hit notable accolades (winning when it mattered). The same is true for the 'Big 3'. 

 

Meanwhile, our up cycles... has always been 'not good enough'...

Meanwhile in Orlando, UCF was playing Football in the MAC and played Basketball and others sports in the ASUN, yet UCF planned and built both a 45,000 seat on-campus stadium (already upgraded multiple times and will be up-graded AGAIN this off-season with another East Side Club Expansion) AND a 10,000 seat on-campus arena at the SAME TIME...as those facilities opened up on-time and on-budget just 6 days apart in 2007.

If UCF could do the above...almost anyone can build an on-campus stadium (many other schools have built new on-campus stadiums across the country since 2007).

 

Every school except USF can do it. We are the poorest university in the country and normal rules don’t apply to us.

A red seated stadium with a pirate ship in the end zone that’s 20 minutes off campus is the ultimate college experience. You know that!

Other schools want to emulate US. 

Rumor has it, and this is just a rumor of course....but I heard that UF is going to blow up the Swamp and build a newer stadium in Ocala. It’s going to have full liquor, a killer club level, a massive Jumbotron and multi-colored seats. It’s going to be awesome!
