He was right. If we know whats coming any coach in America knows what we are going to do. We are the most predictable team I've ever seen.

Or was that Taggart? One of the said it.

One year we are great at QB and WR but the lines suck. One year we have a great line but a terrible WB. And of course you still need a great coach to orchestrate it all and we’ve never had that. actually that is incorrect. most under dog programs started running the spread because you don't need NFL linemen to run it. Yep. It's barely even the same position. Spread is mostly two-point stance, little complexity in the blocking schemes. Doesn't require nearly the same size, smarts, and technique as a good traditional offense since you're not doing the same things. Just as xCWT found out, Stanford needs, and can get, top tier offensive lineman to run their offense. We can't. It's absolutely a premium position and there aren't enough of those guys to go around, hence the development of a "gimmick" offense that could succeed without traditional big uglies. It is, but you can’t properly call this a veer and shoot offense. Veer and shoot is supposed to be passing that sets up running. I’ve seen us trying to do the opposite. It’s the exact opposite of the traditional version thus very confusing for opposing defenses. *Sarcasm font
