Charlie has already tried to fix one dumpster fire at UT. USF looks way better to anyone (with a brain) over  trying to fix Maryland IMO.

Why do people on this board think we should be competing for National Championships every year.  Insane.   CCS will make this an conference champion if you give him time.  His third and fourth year at Louisville were pretty amazing.

Almost any normal person would take a few million to do the same job. CCS isn't a normal person though considering he makes a few million a year already. A more accurate question is:

At 58 years old, would you take a 3-5% pay raise to do the same job at a company with more name recognition, knowing that the work will be a lot more difficult because of the company's environment and current standing in public opinion?

Guy's I don't expect CCS to take the Maryland Job. I do however, hope OCSG does. If at all possible.

Despite my rants, CCS is and will continue to be good for USF.

Haha now we are talking my language. Maryland is one of just a handful of states in which local governments levy their own personal income taxes in additional to the statewide income tax with a top rate of 5.75%. Specifically, counties in Maryland collect income taxes with rates ranging from 1.75% to 3.2%. So CCS would have to see around a 10% increase in base pay before he would see any real benefit.

Charlie is not going anywhere, he shall lead USF to the promise land and make you all eat crow.......that is all.  Maryland, sucks and always have sucked. Maryland is cold and sucks. Tampa is sunny, warm, has beaches and is in a superior state! lol Charlie is a man who is NOT swayed by money. He still wears slippers and socks to the airport. He wants a legacy not just a paycheck.
