Creative or not, I hope they figure out how to build Barnett's confidence back up. He looked a bit lost against ECU. I also haven't seen him keeping his eyes down field when under pressure. He's still a young starter, but, needs to get some good results in this one I think to take some pressure off of himself and get back into a rhythm.

He throws a pretty ball, but I still haven't seen enough out of him to make me confident that he can go through his progressions. He seems to lock in on the primary receiver and that is it. I hope the bye week served the team well, allowed ample practice time for the #1s to gel, and has us as healthy as we were in week 1.

ECU has a better defense then we give them credit for-they are ranked high nationally and that DL of theirs is going to give a number of teams fits in conference play. If they can get their offense sorted out they may well compete for the division. 

ECU defense: 

#17 in total defense

#68 in scoring defense

#2 in TFLs 

#2 in sacks

#9 in run defense

#56 in pass defense

They're not perfect, but there's definitely something there to look at.

Watching them last week I believe they had 5 sacks in the 4th quarter. Their new D coordinator is making a huge difference

You are probably right. At the same time, I would love to leave the stadium with a complete blow out 45 point win so we can all get our confidence back.
