He doesn't come anywhere near measuring up to guys like Greg Auman, Brett McMurphy or Joey Johnston. The program hasn’t exactly been something to write home about during his tenure.

Joey does it, everyone flips.

Especially when trying to bring a family. After fees and taxes it’s hard to find a ticket for less than 20 bucks out the door. And that’s not including anything other than admission. A family of 4 is 100 deep just to sit in the nose bleeds with no food or drink. Maybe, but USF like many schools that are not sold out does have some pretty sweet pricing for certain games: Special Ticket Offers Several outstanding ticket offers are available for our Senior Night game vs. Tulsa (Nov. 16) at Raymond James Stadium: TULSA (SENIOR DAY) • NOV. 16 • 7:30 PM (ESPN): • Youth Football Appreciation: $15 • Enter your youth football organization to complete transaction TICKETS: https://groupmatics.events/s/other/Baymade • Thank You Fans Offer: $15 TICKETS: https://groupmatics.events/s/other/USFThanks • Hillsborough County Public Schools Spirit Night: $15 TICKETS: https://groupmatics.events/s/other/HCPS • Gasparilla Krewes Special Offer: $15 TICKETS: https://groupmatics.events/s/other/Gasparillakrewe • USF Football Pride Night: $25 (First 100 sold receive a t-shirt) TICKETS: https://groupmatics.events/s/other/Usfpride

You also have to be a part of something special to get to go to one game.

It’s funny someone who is clearly in a dying industry fixates on one that’s seen better days but isn’t dying, it’s pretty common human nature. We keep a local copy because of potential public bid advertisements. Even then, there are now services that take care of that also.

Building on OCS will not magically solve our attendance problems. 2. The Rays moving to Tampa will not magically solve their attendance problems. I think both USF and the Rays use those things as a crutch too often. Both those moves will help attendance, but there are many more components. How about viable mass transit, when we talk about the hassle of driving and paying to park at sporting events, how could clean, safe, efficient, affordable mass transit impact that. I grew up in South Florida, going to Canes football games in the Orange Bowl, we had season tickets for a couple years. Anyone care to guess how many times my dad drove us to the Orange Bowl - 0. We would drive to park and ride, free parking, $5 bus round trip. Why isn't there options like that in Tampa?

When I said USF uses that as a crutch, I really mean our fan base on here. The school hasn't blamed attendance figures on the lack of an OCS.

If pricing for families is really an issue, why don't they just sell offer up 2-3000 per game at $ 10.00 each? The team to the east has a program, 2 adults, 2 kids. 299.00. These packages sell pretty well. That's about 11.00 per seat per game. Edited July 5, 2018 by footnfan1
