We all thought he was the worst --actually, he was light years ahead of what's his name that was just fired! New lows... Yay!

I loved LRS but he did have a few blunders. Another one was scheduling two 1aa games in one season.

My problem with ADs taking other AD jobs is that --the person is supposed to represent the entire athletics department. They do the hiring and all of that. When the big cheese signs an extension and then takes another gig, that just says to me there's no trust whatsoever: dollars, baby!

Mark Harlan is dead to me.

Well wherever he goes after he leaves us doesn’t really matter. I just hope we find a solid replacement

Going back to Cali, Cali, Cali, Going back to Cali, I don't think so.

Apparently RB isn't an old school rap fan 😜

I never cared for LL, but I looked up the song.  There were better artists during that era.

I think Harlan will be bumping Biggie when he rides into UCLA or USC.

Many have left a legacy when they depart.....we can hold court on Mark Harlan at a later date, if you wish.  But also keep in mind, Orlando Antigua offsets any success Brian Gregory may have - that's a wash at best! :roflmao:

I do wish. I believe that the MBB coachig was dumped on him, needlessly I might add, almost as soon as he walked in the door. Depends on how CBG ends up doing as to how much COA offsets him ...

So, sounds like you're issuing him somewhat of "a break" on that disaster.

COA coached at USF for 2 1/2 seasons. A total of 78 games and Harlan terminated his employment.

One could argue Harlan recognized the poor performance pretty quickly and cut our losses.

If you base his entire tenure on the COA hire its pretty myopic.

A bigger failure would be his inability to get butts in seats for football which was an outstanding product.

Maybe one could, that might be Mrs. Harlan.  It was a disaster from the outset.  Harlan gave him as much time and money as possible to try to fix that dopey hire.  It wasn't until complete failure was combined with NCAA enforcement violations that Harlan pretty quickly became aware and cut our losses.  We dumped a ton of cash into an unqualified and lost head coach (and his family/staff).  It was worse than the Skippy hire, at least Skippy smiled and hugged everyone - and knew how to use time outs (just kidding about the latter).
