Not really sure it works that way on a year to year basis where under/overachieving seems to be based on expectations ...

I hear ya ..... I used to have minimalist expectations when it came to USF football, two to be exact. Never lose to a 1AA/FCS team and never lose to F_U. When those went down in flames, going into seasons strictly revolve around hope.

I had no idea what to expect last season and feel the same for 2018.
