We've had 6 so far this year not including the 2 blocked punts. 100 teams have 0 or 1 blocked. We should have had no more after the Illinois fiasco.

perhaps when they overload one side (as they did in this case) you  make sure the inside guy(#97) kicks out to help block the guy on his outside foot.

 

again it's not a coincidence that USF is having the same problems Texas had last year

UT had 5 kicks blocked last year, but 3 were in 1 game so stop acting like it was some season long malady for them. If it's the scheme you'd be getting blocks every game. It's, shockingly, been the execution ...

It is 100% on the coaching. We have played 7 games and have had a kick blocked in 3 different games. Either we don't practice kick blocking enough or do not practice the proper technique.

Game day this morning said we have the 4th weakest schedule in FBS.... the blocked kicks are a coaching issue.

Or there are times a player just loses a one on one battle .... I guess, though, ultimate everything is always  on the coaching so since they picked players who didn't execute, 100% it is.
