Was wondering if we were setting a new team record for most FGs and/or PATs blocked in one season - sure feels like it.

I haven't determined that yet, however, I can tell you this.

Last season, we finished 84th in the country in blocked kicks allowed.  28 teams tied with us at #84 with three blocks allowed.

This year we are alone at the absolute bottom of the list, #129 with six blocked in 7 games.

Whether or not that is a record high, requires additional research.

Sort of humorous San Jose State is #128 and Temple is #126.  Better watch the company you keep.  :)

We've had 6 so far this year not including the 2 blocked punts. 100 teams have 0 or 1 blocked. We should have had no more after the Illinois fiasco.

Just curious, how is this not executing? Even if the coaches have a part in it I'm pretty sure it's lack of execution and focus.

Oliver is not 100%. I watched the blocked point this evening and they stacked two on the corner. The lineman chose the outside rusher and the inside rusher broke through. Jesus, this is coaching 101...
