Looking like UF is stuck with their current coach for a few years. They just gave him a new contract and don't think they can buy it out now.

Texas AM, Georgia, USC and FSU all possible losses....if they go 6 and 6 this year he is gone.  I mean I hope they are stuck with him but UF I am sure could find the money.  Not happy times in Gainesville for sure.

He's not going anywhere. Basically, the whole staff is in this funky contract sponsored by Texas with a balloon payment from USF after next year. So, if he leaves, somebody would have to write the same kind of deal; he's not going to leave anybody behind.

Leaving after 1 year? I don't think so. There's not that kind of top-shelf interest.

Now, if we go undefeated and win the money bowl, it might get him looking much more attractive to a bigger program. Remember, Kiffin dumped Tenn for USC. And Ole Miss isn't all that special. Yes, it's an SEC team but that's about it.

Our coaching staff, minus a few coaches, came from top-shelf Texas; they are still getting that kind of pay. [This was why I was so mad when we had to kick 5 field goals against scrub competition.]
