Where there's smoke there's fire about him being unhappy here. Crazy it is after 5 games.

Would not be surprised at all if he left especially with Flowers leaving after the season. If he doesn't get out after the season and he is coaching a 6-6 USF team next year it might take him years to be an attractive candidate again.

What has he done other than show how he can lead another coaches’ player.

So, is he a different coach after the 2nd year in your scenario?  Don't you think other ADs and schools know that he got a loaded roster to lead this year?  He may get offers after this year but I'm not convinced.

This has been a point I've made in discussions on this topic.  This team was BUILT and READY to win.  Skip Holtz would probably be 5-0 right now if he were coaching this team.

Who knows how it will play out ... I'd like CCS to stay, but if he is hellbent on leaving after this year ...

Was his success at L'ville because of Kragthorpe's players?

Hey I love the guy and don’t want him to leave but his success at Ville was like five years ago and was one season (in terms of playing on NYD).

Not sure what you mean by different coach? I think he's out after this year if he gets an offer from a respectable(football wise) school.

Of course they do, but it's easier for an AD to sell its school on a coach that pushed us to an undefeated season. I definitely give credit for keeping the team together and overall has done just as good as Willie.

Was just wanting to pointing out that his success hasn't just been 5-0 here .... but I don't think a prominent P5 like the ones mentioned here will jump on him after this year.

You're probably right. Most decent coaches should do well with this squad, but how long do they hold out? 2-3 seasons? If he can repeat the success next year he may be gone. Too soon right now.
