(1) I saw emotion from Coach Strong and our defensive coordinator. We will need people who can fire up the guys this year.

(2) The defensive is aggressive and isn't playing scared football. Big difference in philosophy now.

(3) QF is sharp, no rust. He's only going to get better as the year goes on. In the past he'd start out slow, maybe for the first few games.

(4) Salomon is going to have a big year.

(5) And, yes, we won; we were supposed to win.

Like: the resilience, Tice, the picks, QF still QF

Needs work: OL, special teams, dropped balls

Unlike some on this board, no panic and resiliance to come back and take care of business.

I was concerned, but felt good that we had the talent to make corrections.

Definitely concerned...anytime you're down 16 its a concern.  This game was so much like the Syracuse game last year its scary.  Loved seeing new names stepping up...Saloman and Alaka (sp?).  Once we got back within 2 I liked our chances.

Saloman was great, seems to be as advertised. May be our new go-to alongside MVS.

What a game from Kelvin Pinkney What a game for the freshman with the almost intercepted td and the almost run back for the TD. He's someone we gotta watch.

.1. The defense looked great and has depth.. The what our biggest weakness last year and our best strength today. 2. Kelvin Pickney- Senat gets ejected and he steps up. You also saw his speed with that touchdown that got called back. Great steal in this recruiting class. 3. Alaka looks fast. 4. Greg Reaves

Im not worried. The offense will make the adjustments and we will finally have good  defense and offense.

McCants block to score the TD.  When Q is in a groove he is scary good.  Wanna see three good qtrs next week then work Kean on the passing game.
