He has all the makings, experience and ties of a great head coach for a team in the AAC. Plus no one else knows FL or USF like he does. http://www.todaysu.com/acc/miami-hurricanes/miamis-next-coach-why-not-scott/

As for Riley nothing has been signed yet. Harlan and company need to hustle no matter who we sign so the new coach can get in here and try to hold the recruiting class and roster together. He is much better off sitting back with his million$ and wait for a better deal. 100% incorrect. He gets paid $10.7M over the next 2 year, minus half of his new salary. So, if we pay him $4M for the next 2 years, he would make; $8.7M from Texas $4M from USF Total: $12.7M (this is more than $10.7M that he gets by sitting on his tail doing nothing, but, maybe less than if he goes to ESPN as an analyst or something outside of coaching)

Joey Jones is my realistic pick. Well realtimerpi.com says that 'our level of play' is better than the Big 12 right now, and is closer to SEC level than conference USA. So I hope you aren't implying that we play in a pee wee league so we can just hire whoever

If this is true we should pay him a dollar and use the rest in the assistant pool. He still gets the money he is used to and gets the best shot he can at spring boarding back to the next level. He could easily make that up waiting for a better deal. Who is gonna pay him more than 3 million a year? If he comes here its basically turn-key for next season or two and he can catch up recruiting. He has a few winning seasons here while we keep the momentum going and he takes a job at a bigger school. Works out for everyone.
