I'm not afraid to say I was sick of the non-sense four games into his third year. We were terrible. The coaching was terrible. Most people in a similar job position would be without a job if they performed as poorly as Willie did. Why sugar coat the truth.

On a different note, my favorite thing about Willie Taggart was allowing the offense to attempt to score on the last play of the game against ECU (twice). There's nothing better than putting a beat down! It'll be interesting to see how they respond next season when we play them in Carolina.

If we lose to Navy, Memphis and SMU all the fire Taggart people will pop out of their prairie dog holes.  God forbid if we lose to UCiF as well.  Brad will have to increase the censor filter on this board x 1000.

Well, I hope that doesn't happen, the losses.

And while BAusfkid wonders where they all are, most in this realm disappear when wrong, so I doubt many are now singing his praises.  Sheriff owned up.  Just like the fire CJL crowd, they don't come around much anymore....

I hear you Sheriff.  During that time if the scoreboard was the only indicator of success and future performance, I'm all for his termination.  You could see/hear the culture changing during those first painful seasons.  He had a lot of heavy lifting to do to change mindsets.  It takes time at our level and I'm thankful he has turned the corner with the entire program.  There are and will still be bumps in the road.
