He was there - his twitter feed has the video. Like most folks, when he is working he likely VPNs back into his corporate fabric. Thus any access to external sites (like twitter) will appear to originate from wherever St. Pete Times sets up their VPN servers.

Seems we are way to hyper-critical of a guy just reporting on USF Football. Not his job to be a cheerleader!

USF gets into a top conference and his articles become far more important and closer to the front page then the back page. I'm also quite certain that it feels better to have people tweeting you questions then obscenities.

Nah, probably because in the last couple day's his I-Phone was set to vibrate and now his new pair of jeans have an outline of that phone like a Skoal can does to a Red-Necks overhauls.

The newspaper is important with getting the local fringe fan on board. As archaic as it is to some of you whippersnappers, thousands in this area still read the print version and it can have an effect. Have no real problem with today's version, unlike the ******** they pulled with Reasearchgate. Like it or not, UF is still probably the preeminent college team in town and MF was practically shaking green and gold pom poms, relatively speaking...
