Flowers is a great athlete, player, student, signal caller and overall kid! Love the fight he brings to the team with all of the adversity he has gone thru in his young life, plus helping bring USF back to the glory days! When Q's career is all said and done we can have this debate :GoBulls:

Yes.  He is certainly in a great position though!

Watching replay that long pass to I think Adams was amazing.   I love the passion Flowers shows during the game.

I believe QF can clean up the short stuff.  I think he is inconsistent in his release and foot work on short passes.

When the pass is short everything happens a little faster and it looked to me like he wasn't setting his feet as well.  When he checked down to the short pass he threw it well because he took the time.  Hopefully they practice the quick snap-three step-pass motion.

I'm excited for the season to progress.  Defense needs to hold up against good competition.  That is the scariest part.  We need to hold them under 20 points to make it a good game.

Another thing to look for is the laces.  On the longer plays QBs can get the laces lined up with their throwing hand as the survey the field / wait for their receivers to get down field.  Short throws are often thrown from the same position you catch the snap in, especially in shotgun.  We'll see what they can do, but I bet they work on it...

The pass to Rod in double coverage was on the money. The TD pass to Bronson was perfectly in stride. The TD pass to Barr was magnificent across his body. Maybe more talented defenders make a play on the ball, but they were darn good passes.

My only issue regarding QF was that he was left in far too long in garbage time.

Up 34 in the fourth, no need for him in the game.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
