No such thing as bad donor money, no matter how "whiny" the donor.

Yeah, this isn't a customer type situation where a customer could actually be more trouble than he's worth. Whining on a message board is something we have to endure, not the university. What's kind of funny is the notable absence of the board curmudgeons on a certain list. You'd think the cathartic value of this board would be worth something to them.

I disagree. Remember the idiotic, but well placed, donors that were willing to make asses of themselves during basketball games to rid the program of Seth Greenberg?

When you're after any kind of money, you'll make bad decisions - as USF has.

If that's the case more power to USF athletics as there is no way I could put up with the bull ****.

I'm not sure if you intentionally kept from answering USFBull727's question, but what was it that turned you off from supporting USF financially--was it how the "Slapgate" was handled?

I think now we can say it's intentional.  Unless his Coke bottle glasses have a smudge that's blocking the text that he's missing when he reads.

We've lost a lot of fans over the years. Just wondering what is keeping you away. The team's doing pretty well

Winning or losing was not a factor in my case.  I enjoy watching it on TV more than at the stadium.....record, play, rewind, fast forward!  Life's good!

He's not asking what is NOT a factor ... he's asking what IS.  And you are avoiding.

Anyone who says that I don't support USF financially is talking out of their bunghole.

BTW, I think Slapgate was handled appropriately.

Okay, I guess you weren't being facetious about actually watching games from home, rather than in-person. I thought there may have been some more profound reason, beyond just being lazy. :D

Luckily the administration does't try to appease the TBP experts.

I actually agree with you on this. Thank Buddha those decisions aren't done at the whim of this message board. :D
