What happened to KP? And could he work at that level?

IF Allen does indeed leave I'd want somebody who would continue to run the 4-2-5...

Go with the most experienced positional coach from TCU

I love TCUs D!

My second choice would be a coordinator from Kentucky's D

Miami Dolphins WRs coach Phil McGeoghan will be new WRs coach/pass coord. for East Carolina HC Scottie Montgomery per source.

Al Golden? Al freaking Golden? That guy had the worst defenses in the history of that school. I would literally cancel my season tickets if they hired him. He's clueless about how to run an effective defense.

I would go this route...just make sure the players are simular.

You wouldn't want a DC use to having 250+ lb linebackers for example.

Bring Wally Burnham out of retirement. He was great.

No more retreads! Rather take a swing on an up and comer who will be here for 2 years then get a guy who will mellow out our defense!

Man if hes gone this DC hire is critical!!! Hopefully Auburn goes a different direction!

I don't think any of the guys mentioned will even get looked at. Expect a smaller school DC, or a P5 position coach. We don't need an old retread on his last legs.

We lost touch with Phil about a year or so after he took the Dolphin's job.
