I don't think we'll sell out our allotment. If we have 4K USF fans there, I think that'd be a success. We have quite a few alumni already living in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties so I think those along with however many travel from the west coast of Florida, will put us at about 4K peeps. I also agree with Jim that many will likely purchase tickets via stub hub or some other secondary ticket resource.

OVER.

I'm bringing 11.....and having to do a down-and-back (2 trucks).......which is not ideal, but will make for a good story for future bull grandchildren....

I drove to that bowl during the freak blizzard of 2015 kids.

I haven't paid attention to when the other bowls are, but is there a bowl at a worse date/time than ours?

Monday before Christmas during an afternoon when you either may already have plans that 2 weeks notice isn't enough to change, work and no chance to get off because others have booked it for their vacation and not even the opportunity to watch it at home, just sneak-stream it at work.

I say no way USF will sell their allotment.

The Bahamas Bowl on Christmas Eve is definitely the worst in terms of attendance at the game. I believe the Hawaii Bowl starts at 8 ET on Christmas Eve so I doubt many casual viewers will be following that until the end.

There's been almost a years notice. While I agree the timing sucks and NOBODY expected USF to be in a bowl game until about a month ago, the dates and AAC possibilities were announced in plenty of time. What happens if by some miracle we were in the playoffs? People would make arrangements not knowing exactly where or when they were going.

I walked to Miami and back during that blizzard... uphill... BOTH ways..

Yes kids.. South Florida had hills/mountains back then, but the Bulls stampede flattened them and sank the ground... That's where the everglades came from.

I must have missed the announcement of what bowl we were in a year ago.
