  1. According to the WKU Sports website, the Hilltoppers and Bulls will be playing a home and home football series starting in 2023. http://m.wkusports.com/m/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/futrsched.html Think that OCS will be open by then?
  2. It's very likely. Part of WT's buyout contract was that the two schools must use their "best efforts" to schedule and home-and-home football series
  3. Thanks guys for letting us WKU fans join in on some of the discussion leading up to and around the bowl game (and especially thanks for some of the travel tips and advice I received). Y'all have a good "atmosphere" on this board where you obviously love your team but don't take everything way too seriously (as I have seen all too often on other teams' boards). I'm really looking forward to watching USF next year; gonna be a really good team. 'Til we meet again
  4. Tyler Higbee (6'6" TE) for WKU is officially out with a knee injury
  5. Typo. Just one charter plane. There was talk of another because the first filled up so fast but, as far as I know, it never came to fruition.
  6. Not surprising. Most WKU fans (myself included) are headed down tomorrow morning. The charter planes and buses are, as well.
  7. (If I'm not allowed to participate, that's cool, just wanted to throw my prediction in for fun) 1.) WKU 2.) 38-33 3.) Flowers 4.) Adams 5.) 411
  8. it'd be more fun if it was actually played ON a beach
  9. Hey the two teams' colors are distinct so WKU could be wearing red to have a "Christmas" theme lol
  10. I'm surprised they didn't put any temporary stands in the outfield. That's gonna be a weird dead space
  11. I have an extra ticket for the bowl (originally had 3 in my party, one can no longer go). So if someone is still needing to buy tickets, you can get one at a discounted price. I'm sure you won't have to actually sit in the seat assigned on the ticket and can move to where your group is sitting.
  12. Not exactly a "one up" though. WKU students have always been free to any home athletic event and they just carry it over to bowl games, conference championships, etc. I reckon it's just factored into the yearly budget.
  13. Maybe I'm pessimistic because attendance has been lacking for WKU all year (last 4 home games starting at 11am didn't help matters either), but I'm thinking MAYBE 3k in red.
  14. All we know of is the charter plane (110 passengers, I think) sold out in less than a day. It doesn't tell you a whole lot because that's the season ticket holders/people with money. I wouldn't expect WKU fans to outnumber USF at all. It's just too long for a drive (~15 hours) and plane tickets are pricey at this time.
  15. I was searching and I think there's a lot near Eden Roc (within walking distance of FB) that's cheaper
  16. Thanks! I looked at renting at car and its around $130 for the whole time so that'll be just as cheap and more convenient than Taxis
  17. Alright so I'm an out of towner (obviously) and staying at Fontainebleau. What do you recommend for travel to the game? Should I rent a car for travel around the area (I'm coming in Sunday morning and leaving Tuesday afternoon)?
