Date/Time is bad for me too, because of work. I have a bad feeling this is going to make overall turnout pretty scarce.

Has there ever been an afternoon bowl game on a weekday 4 days before Christmas?  With so many people still working, I can't believe there would be more than 5,000 fans for each team.  And not many locals who are off work at $60 a pop.  And no TV audience.  Not sure what Disney was thinking on this one.

Would have much rather faced a team like Auburn in the Birmingham Bowl than a CUSA opponent. WKU is a tougher opponent but less of a signature win for the program IMO.

Agree with what you're saying but there was no way with 4 Florida Bowl games that we were headed to Birmingham.  The only outside shot was Orlando and a PAC 12 at large team.  This is good for recruiting in Miami as long as we win.

Let's hope Brett Mc is correct.  Just book a flight that morning to Ft. Lauderdale and back very early the next morning to make a doctor appt.  Really was hoping for St Pete but we're going to Miami if that is the case.

Yeah, besides the novelty of playing a13th game...this really isn't a good situation for us.

Buy tickets ???   LOL....that stadium will be so empty...maybe worse then a "U" game.  They could give tickets away and you might not hit 30k.  This will be a big loser for USF in terms of money.  They will have to buy their ticket allotment which they won't be close to selling.  All I can say is buy your tickets thru USF(helps the school) and don't worry where the seats are cause you will be able to sit anywhere.  Go to the game and show USF has a following and stop in West Palm on the way down....some great clubs there.

Don't rule the PAC-12 team out. The Miami Beach Bowl is a higher profile bowl, and as we've now seen, the opponent is a Florida team that's been doing quite well the past two months. The Cure Bowl is down the list-they'll get the likes of an ECU or Cincinnati to play a CUSA or Sun Belt team most likely. Miami is a premiere destination, if a PAC-12 team comes open they're flying into Miami, not Orlando.

I hope you're right. If we are going to get a p5 opponent it would come from the pac12. But I'm still not sure how the tie-ins work, and who gets dibs.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
