40k when UCF has a 45k seater?  Need to at least match their capacity.

Why?  Quality over quantity.  If demand gets out of control, we could expand.

Not for nothing... but... IF this were true, then, someone has been hired to draw up said maps/plans for such an adventure. Being that USF is a public institution and subject to Sunshine Laws, any correspondence with that someone would be available to the public via a records request.

SO... who has time to sort through all of the emails, contracts, etc to find this needle in the public records haystack?

(not saying it's not true, just that it's impossible to keep it under wraps for 2 years until it is announced)

Which is why the part about keeping it a secret for two years has everyone skeptical. If he'd have just played the "I've seen the plans and talked to a highly connected person who I can't name..." card, we'd already have moved on to posting pictures of the Orange Bowl.

If they have donor on board one of his contributions can be funding these feasibility studies privately.  This would be great if true.

My guess is that if they are waiting two years to bring this to the pubic, this has to have something to do with MOSI's master plan and the changes that will need to be made.

You can't just scrap a master pan that includes acres and acres of expansion and create a whole new one in a couple weeks or even months.

Going to take some time and teamwork to make sure both sides will beneift from this, if that is where the OCS would be built.

I am EXTREMELY skeptical

But, it is best to raise funds when your program is doing well

USF should be a top program in 2018 (on campus housing, academics, athletics)

Wait till Trip sees this thread.  He's going to have a stroke.  Too many posts in favor of an OCS.

Like the plan that the gingivitis guy proposed in Miami, this isn't an OCS ....................... besides I'm NOT anti-OCS, ya mope.
