When I heard he would be our starting QB this year, I thought we would be in for a LONG season. I must say I've been pleasantly surprised with what I'm seeing from him. He is a perfect fit for this offense. Slow start today, but as usual, got better as the game went on. He pretty much carried the team to this blowout win. No Mack, not a ton of production from Johnson/Tice, and a ton of drops, yet we still win by 24. This would not have been possible in recent years, but this team is becoming dangerous now. I think we will do well over the upcoming 4 game stretch. Would love to see us finally put a complete game together....offense, defense, and special teams hitting on all cylinders.

Set AAC record for most rushing yards in a game. He also has the most rushes by a QB in a game by a FBS QB this year.

Best performance in a single game by a USF QB?

I think that is the main thing. They have made this offense around his skill set, and it is working.

Definitely our best QB since Daniels.... although seeing how his competition has been Eveld, Floyd, White, and Bench, it's not high praise. Still though, we aren't loosing games because of QF, and he gives us a legitimate QB ground threat we haven't had in a long time.

I would say this is the most complete game I have seen from QF as a QB. He made lots of great throws even if it was against a bad D. The fact that he was accurate with his throws and made good decision with the ball down field has me more hopeful for the year! Go get'm Wanky!

I wanted him solely because I didn't want to see more of Bench.

He has improved from the first few games by leaps and bounds. Truly amazed at his progression. I honestly thought he was just a placeholder at QB until next year, and he may still be, but now I'm starting to think he might be hard to remove as the quarterback if he continues his ascent.

He keeps getting better every week. If our Wr's could catch he would've had an even bigger day.

I know a lot of people have already pinned AW the starter next year. Q has taken control of this offense and is playing better every week. Don't want to play the "IF" game, but think what his numbers would of been this week if someone would/could catch a ball.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
