it was the best running performance in school history by a QB and the best in FBS QBs this year.

Q is easily my favorite bull to root for. Ever. To put on a performance like this given what he has gone through in his life is remarkable. Call me a little *****, but I'm nearly moved to tears. A picture of determinatian, resilience and perseverance.

Best performance in a single game by a USF QB?

Without a few of the drops, it would have been close ...

Definitely our best QB since Daniels.... although seeing how his competition has been Eveld, Floyd, White, and Bench, it's not high praise. Still though, we aren't loosing games because of QF, and he gives us a legitimate QB ground threat we haven't had in a long time.

I'll take Flowers and this offense over Daniels and the offenses he ran. I think Flowers takes better care of the ball, especially considering how little experience he has. This team has done a 180 starting with the Syracuse game. I never thought Taggart would amount to anything here, but some of the changes he has made are making a big difference. We are now the ones making in-game adjustments and getting better as the game goes on, rather than the other way around. This is now looking like it's going to work, but the next four games will tell the story.

The speed on QF is impressive! From a fake throw to a 10 yard run in 3 seconds..

Again I will also take this combo of OLs, RBs WRs and QF over anything we've ever had here.

We beat up SMU tonight physically...

Flowers is the best USF QB since Grothe. He's got an 'it factor' to him, and if he continues to develop, he could get a shot at playing on Sunday in his future.

This escalated quickly....

I appreciate the wins and the momentum, but he torched one of the worst defenses in college football.

Best performance in a single game by a USF QB?

Honestly, if it wasn't for the drops, he probably would of had 240+ passing and 200+ yards rushing with a 65+ completion percentage... I would say best single game performance!

Without the #1 running back in the game, which is obviously a huge loss. While Johnson and Tice are very good as change of pace and passing down subs, not having Mack in the game hurt our running ability.

Yes, and it feels good to even consider a USF QB worthy of the comparison, doesn't it?

The kid's good, and if he continues on this trajectory, he's going to force opposing coordinators to gameplan for him, rather than his own coordinators hope he doesn't kill your team's chances.
