A run first offense should be able to pick up a 4th and 1 against Memphis...

Bazinga!

So after taking the blame on Saturday, he is now blaming the WRs that he has recruited and coached for three years for their failure.  Maybe you should recruit better and coach better, CWT.  Mainly coach better, because I like our current WR group, I just think they have no chance when we don't throw a ball their way for three hours then expect them to be Jerry Rice when we trying to come from behind because we didn't throw downfield the first 3 1/2 quarters.

I honestly think our WR are shocked when the ball is throw and that causes some of their drops.

The other bit that is missing from this thread is attacking your opponents weaknesses. MD, Memphis, and Cuse all have glaring weaknesses in the secondary. The difference with Cuse is that they appear to have the best run D we will face all year.

This has the potential to be the worse offense outing we have seen all year. But maybe what Malt said is true... CWT is playing mind games moving the pieces in place to catch then off guard which explains his insane statements this week :FIREdevil:

Talking today about competing hard and great effort. And how we are close. I wanted to throw my computer off a cliff and burn the remains a thousand times. The man is certifiably out of his ***** **** * * *** * ****** * * * ***** mind.

The most baffling thing is he says stuff like this and he shows piss poor results on the field and yet he can still recruit high(er) level talent. How is that possible?

Taggart's stubbornness makes me believe he will throw the school under the bus when he gets fired. He doesn't hold himself accountable for losses so I don't expect him to when he leaves. I could see his stubbornness extending beyond his employment and saying something like "USF wasn't the kind of school where I could attract the kind of quality players I needed to be successful."

Then he would be more than a terrible coach, if that happens.
