JimSig, I'll take both those bets (USF +17 and an O/U of 30-35. 28.5 is about right and I see 50 in O/U.

 

Our defense is better than you're giving them credit for... not sure I really see a 39-11 game (call it 40-10 for even numbers).

Even though it was FAMU, it still was a Florida school with a few players with speed.The defense shut them out. They played a perfect game, and the effort was perfect.They seem hungry and they are much deeper team so they can play hard until the end of the fourth quarter unlike last year. As long as the offense eats some clock, we will have a chance

On speed, I thought their jersey #1 was quick - name is Devondrick Nealy.  He was contained.  A long rush of 6 yards and netted just two yards on 14 carries.  He did some damage catching the ball - a long of 29 yards.  But still couldn't escape for a score - at all.

Those Vegas oddsmakers are pretty darned good at what they do...USF is going to have its hands full with FSU.  Texas State was in the game with FSU first half but was out of gas for second half.  Second half will make or break USF...hope all the conditioning and practicing has got the guys in peak physical and mental condition.  Go Bulls...scalp the 'Noles!

They're very good. But the point spread isn't to pick an outcome, it's to draw equal action on both sides.

FSU is better than those teams.  Still, I'm hoping we keep it close, and somehow make some big plays early to put pressure on FSU & keep the fans quiet.
