I'm more excited. I think Coach Allen has the defense pumped for fast action hard hitting football. Go Bulls!

I hope so. That's what I miss most about Leavitt's days. a hard hitting aggressive defense. attack the backfield.

I can definitely see it and it has me excited too! The excitement is contagious! The media, Taggart. Harlan, etc have really hyped up this team in the offseason. But, all it takes is a loss/close game

Exactly, and that's why this is the best time of year, right now.  Hopefully the land of reality that lies ahead after tomorrow is as kind and fun as the current land of hope we're in.

Going to the spread and running a 5-2-4 defense gets me excited because it accenutates the strength of the talent in the state of Florida.  Also the accomplishments of the other sports teams at USF also spark my optimisim for the football program this year.  I am not expecting a 12 - 0 season but I really feel this one will be different and the Bulls will be bowling once again.

Not to be a wet blanket, but I've seen less from my season ticket holder group...

 

Have the same feeling from some my tailgating group .... but the important thing is that they're still season tix holders.

I feel like I did on Xmas eve when I was a kid. I've been saying all summer this season feels different. This season I feel like we finally have a chance to win. I mean they have to play the games... but the cupboards are finally stocked and we have a fighting chance.

I feel the same way Cali. Although I am a little more guarded this year, I am still excited about tomorrow. I must admit that I have a feeling that this team can be decent but I am surpresing it until I see some wins.

I agree.  I'm way more into it than I was a year ago on first game eve.  Can't put my finger on why, but I hope we're not on here groaning and moaning tomorrow at 10:30 pm.
