Tell it UConn and Kentucky.

I've been to Kentucky, it's not the all day tailgate and game atmosphere that comes with football.

Yeah, but it's nice to whip up some apples-n-oranges-fruit-salad.

Is there some sort of hope that WBB is going to fill the dome? I know it's not the polite thing to say, but it is WBB. It doesn't matter how inexpensive tickets may be, it's demand for the ticket - the perceived value of the experience - that is going to drive demand. And, just based on what we see here, demand is not where some believe it should be.

If you want, here's some pretty good numbers from the 2014 season to gnaw on....Uconn averaged 8,313/game while UK averaged 6,727. Interestingly, the AAC averaged 3,058 while the ACC averaged 2,729 and the PAC12 in at 1,995

There must be SOME hope. After all, the NCAA awarded us the Final Four games....

No Wooly, I get it's WBB.  Most look at it the way I look at soccer.  If you gave me free tickets I wouldn't go.  Attendance is what attendance is and no more or less.  If we had an OCS now people wouldn't attend based on the performance.

I'll just say right now, there's absolutely NO way WBB is getting an OCS. :FIREdevil:

The awarding of the Women's FF had absolutely nothing to do with USF/Tampa Bay area fans potential for attending games ...

I was going to ask if you take UConn out, what does that do? .... But then when I looked, the ACC actually has 2 teams with a higher attendance avg than UConn ....

But we only have two teams that are worth a plugged nickel.

To be considered a power league, need to have 4 teams cruising in conference play, and all 12 busting it up in OOC games

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
