Start digging today! The attendance for a successful football program would far exceed the attendance of a successful women's basketball team as we have seen in the past. We must win before having an OCS would be viewed as successful. If we become a successful program and then have an OCS, we fill it up. Do not confuse women's basketball with football. That would be silly of you.

Start digging today! One can say that the attendence for all sports on campus would increase if USF did build a football OCS. You see, you are fighting a losing argument. You can keep trying to down play a need for an OCS, but USF knows that they will need one to be able to complete in the AAC. Look at Tulane and you will see. Look at Houston and you will see. Look at UCF and you will see. Heck, listen to what Temple is trying to do and you will see. This is a fight that I am afraid that you cant win. The time to do it was when we were at least better than a .500 team consistently. After the novelty of the new stadium wears off, if the team isn't winning or at least exciting to watch you won't see much more attendance than what you see at RayJay. The renovated Sun Dome is considered one of the nicest facilities in the country. With a crappy team we still have crappy attendance. What would lead anyone to believe that you would have better attendance (relatively speaking) for a crappy football team. I know it is a chicken and egg thing, but how do sell someone on financing the construction expense when your team draws less than 20,000 people indicating little interest in a losing team. Then you have the newly renovated arena that struggles to get to 1/3 capacity on most nights? Until we start winning and building interest again I just see an OCS as a tough sell

Start digging today! You really going to compare men's or women's basketball attendance/popularity to football? No offense , but that is absurd. Football is an event. Basketball is a game. You mean some of the top programs in the country with YEARS of success? We just were ranked #25 for the first time EVER. Let's get ranked in the Top 10 and do it consistently over the next 10 years and then we can talk.
