I'm confused about the kickoff time.  Tally is in the eastern time zone so why not a noon start?  It's on ESPN so does that mean that College Game Day (built by the Home Depot) will end at 11:30 this coming year instead of noon?  I hope the new "normal" start time for early games is not 11:30 ET.

Harlan responded to this on Twitter yesterday. Sounds like Game Day won't be on because of the US Open.

New FSU QB, early start time, 2nd game in the year for FSU, this bodes well for us (not saying we're going to win). I don't get all the complaining. Wake up early, draw straws to find a designated driver.

Last game, the lot next to their arena opened at 7am for tailgating and there were a lot of USF folks that arrived between 7 and 8 so they probably drove all night.  There is a shuttle from the arena to the stadium which was great.  So the beers wear off during the game and this can be a one day trip including a morning tailgate.  Leave at 2 or 3 am and be back in Tampa around 8pm.
