I am in no way, shape, or form whining about this class. It looks solid (except for QB...again). But am I the only one who is still sort of "meh" over today? I guess I'm used to a flip, or an actual possibility of a flip, or a big catch in the class that gets me jazzed. I feel like I just watched the NFL draft and my team had the 7th pick and took an offensive tackle. I know it's a good pick and it's needed, but I have to talk myself into caring about it.

Some people need flash, others are just as excited that their team got better compared to their conference mates.  While not "sexy" this is a very talented class....

I know and that was more my point. It's a long time until the new season and I wouldn't have minded a little razzle dazzle at the last minute.

I would think a lot would be "meh" just based on the fact that the current regime hasn't shown they can turn decent recruiting classes into wins ................ yet .......... hopefully.

Definitely a factor. And I'm still completely bemused? perplexed? befuddled? by our handling of the QB situation.

Not that is completely excuses the lack of incoming QB talent, but I've read over and over this year was an awful year for QB prospects - especially in this region.  Sucks for Taggart because regardless of whether it's bad luck, it could very well be the final nail in his coffin.

Welcome to USF football my friend, welcome to USF football.  The only time I ever actually felt good about us at QB was when we had Grothe and BJ on the roster at the same time.  It just befuddles me that no matter who we've had as a coach we just can't seen to recruit QB's consistently.

Any potential flips still left out there? Impressive class considering our recent records!

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
