This doesn't add up....

It means we have someone on staff that isn't filling a coaching roll...

Wouldn't we hire as many people as were fired? How do we end up with more vacancies than people let go?

 

What do you mean? We fired 3 people, 1 position has been filled(Tom Allen DC), this is a report of another position being filled(Danny Hope OL, which Wulff coached), and involves speculation of Willie taking over the OC duties, the third position.

 

While it's unorthodox, not everything has to be by the book.

 

 

No, we still need a DB coach ... the third vacancy.

 

And it's not that unorthodox... quite a few head coaches are also their offensive coordinator.

We did not improve on offense if coach Taggart is our play caller with official OC duties.

It means our offense will be completely inept for a 3rd straight year.

I'll be honest, I'm not thrilled but I like it. It's his job on the line so he wants to be the one responsible one way or another. Have to respect him for that
