@38Godfrey  Â·

As we first reported days ago, former Purdue HC Danny Hope is headed to USF. http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2014/12/15/7397879/danny-hope-usf-purdue-coach â€¦

Since USF has only 1 offensive position open, and Hope will be the OL coach... it means that CWT will be his own OC

(NOTE: The CWT to be OC is not actually in the report ... but the only remaining open position is the DB coach)

That's pure speculation on your part. Don't rile up the natives with that.

Premium sites still stay strong that Kinnan will be at USF and be playcalling.

That kinda makes no sense....We would be turning DB's over to a coach with no experience with them since no one on the staff has coached DB's.  The only way we add another offensive coach is if Woody leaves, we don't have enough open slots available.  Kinnan could come on board as an off the field analyst but from what I understand he wouldn't be involved in the play calling.

It's not really speculation -- it's drawing conclusions based on the available evidence.

Kinnan will not be calling plays.  If he joins the staff, it will be in an off-field capacity as an advisor to CWT.

No. It's speculation.

But justify it however you want. I really couldn't care less.

When we hear something official, we will know for sure.

If Taggart is going to be the OC, does this mean we have a HC vacancy? :D

OH FFS I just went and checked all the media outlets. You are right Jim...it sounds like Coach T will be calling the plays with advisement from Kinnan. My apologies.

This will end great I'm sure.

We did not improve on offense if coach Taggart is our play caller with official OC duties.

No worries, Hem.

If CWT is going to be evaluated based on this season... he wants to make sure it's not because of someone else's failure.
