He likes being right more than winning. Changing QBs means he was wrong.

Actually, changing QBs or not he was wrong and still is wrong. He can't admit it to himself, but it's plainly obvious to everyone else. The fans, the players, the other coaches, even to Bench and White.

The only thing that will get Bench on the field is if White gets injured. It will need to be a pretty horrific injury too because even in a cast Taggart was.putting Mike White in.

I think Bench more than earned at least a couple days worth of consideration to start the next game.  The difference in the way our offense looked was gigantic.

The Tulsa game was fluke.  Take the stats from the Tulsa game out of White's stats and then tell me who is better.  For the record I was never a White fan even last year.  He may be good under perfect circumstances but actual game play is a totally different situation.

When White is good, he can help us win games. Tags is probably hoping Mike finds his groove and is as good as he can be all the time. He is operating under the assumption that this will come with time.

Also, changing qb's every time someone has a bad game is something we USED to do, and didn't serve us well.

I still can't believe people were impressed with bench. He looked worse than White, 2 blown coverages padded his stats.
