Bench & Flowers both can.  Maybe not to the extent of Grothe and BJ, but both are more mobile than White.

The reality of this is that White gives USF the best chance to win. However, he cant keep making mental mistakes. He pretty much lost USF that game last night with those INTs and fumbles. All his confidence from Tulsa come back went out the door with his mental mistakes. I am not sure the kid can ever overcome those and it is a shame as he has the best arm and accuracy on the team right now. So yes, CWT knows White is the best chance. 

 

So you're saying that he gives us the best chance of winning if he doesn't play the way he's been playing.  Got it.

We need that mobile QB to help keep their defense more honest. It is a shame that White cant scramble as he has the arm that we have been looking for. His mental mistakes kill the team though so something needs to be addressed.

Agreeing. Many here badmouth Bench. He only got TD passes with blown coverage.many are like that. One of whites passes to Davis last week, the defender came up limping.

White had 4 dropped snaps, a fumble, and two interceptions and not a single TD pass.

Bench had 2 TD passes and zero interceptions and also one dropped snap.

White took 3 times the reps of Bench yet Bench had twice as many scoring drives and thst resulted in 14 points. White's drives resulted in only 3.

Blown coverage or not the team did a lot better when Bench was in.

The team still cannot overcome the 17 point hump.
