Does NOT putting names on the back of uniforms really motivate the players to play better as a team? It just seems like coach-speak BS that spilled out onto the field somehow.

Wait till we play UCF, who hasn't had names on their jerseys in forever. The comparisons they bring up will be eye-rollingly stupid.

It didn't really bother me during the home games watching live, but now that I've watched 2 away games at a bar with no sound, I really wish the guys had their names on the back of the jerseys.  Only for selfish reasons.  I don't have everybody's number memorized.

 

Do you think this will be a permanent thing during Taggart's tenure?  Do you think the guys can "earn" their names back? 

 

Also thinking it would be cool to put them on for the last home game for 2 reasons:

• To be different than UCF who doesn't have names on their jerseys
• Senior night

 

 

I pretty much know the numbers, but for game 1, I printed out the two-deep on gousfbulls.com.  Also, just keep the roster bookmarked in your phone, for easy reference.

I prefer the names on the back, but I'm fine with the team having to "earn" their names back. Let's see if that Tulsa game is the beginning of this Taggart coached team actually doing something.
