Prefer the names on the Jerseys. I think it'll help the commentators too. They called Rodney Adams Ryeshene Bronson a few times against Tulsa.

Personally, I prefer the names on the back of the jersey.  Hate having to constantly check the roster while the game is going on to check on who did what.

I prefer the names on the back, but I'm fine with the team having to "earn" their names back. Let's see if that Tulsa game is the beginning of this Taggart coached team actually doing something.

It's Holtz's fault.

 

"In 1986, (Lou) Holtz left Minnesota to take over the then-struggling Notre Dame Fighting Irish football program. A taskmaster and strict disciplinarian, Holtz had the names removed from the backs of the players' jerseys when he took over at Notre Dame, wanting to emphasize team effort."

They should only be allowed to have names on their backs if we make a bowl... otherwise I say leave it.

I could care less either way. In the words of Al Davis" just win baby, win". Win and nothing else matters unless players are committing serious crimes off the field than that needs to be taken care of swiftly.
