Total waste of a possession IMO. What's the point of putting him in there if all we're going to do anyway is play conservative and not let him take any chances?

I think Taggart's policy is to put Flowers in for a 3 and out once White starts getting in a groove. Complete stupidity! I thought they were still going to redshirt Flowers. Either way, timing is really dumb.

Supposedly, everyone in the Press Box were scratching their heads when this occurred. I know that we and everyone around us were aghast that he would try that nonsense again.

Totally don't understand the point to this.  Was CWT asked about this in the post-game presser?  Would really like to understand his thinking.

This needs to be asked at Taggart's next presser. What was the logic of putting Flowers in there at that time?

He has a script and sticks to it and this week that included putting Flowers in on the 3rd, 4th possession, which ever it was, and he doesn't deviate.

That's why he went in when we where on our own 10 yard line, because his script of plays called for Flowers to go in on that possession.

No creativity or ability to adjust.

Yep.  You have an offense that was producing at that point in the game, and once again you destroy continuity and risk changing QBs when you are at your highest risk.

Script.

A Script?

Unable to deviate from 'the script'.

I'm not entirely certain that I would approach a fluid situation - like the ebb and flow of offense and defense - with a very rigid "script".

Assuming that was the case last evening, how would we evaluate the use of the "script"? Was it successful? If so, at what? Just

asking because I didn't see the value added aspect of inserting Flowers at that point in time.
