Assuming Charlie Strong will still be HC when this game is played.

Is there a better job he's going to be taking? He prints his own money and doesn't have to drive more than 100 miles for unlimited talent.

I should have worded it differently: Assuming he is successful enough to still be HC when the game is played.

So you think Texas is coming because there's a benefit to them? Interesting.

Amazingly I get paid. But only when I show up for work.

 

My gig's even better.  I get paid if sick, holidays & 5 weeks vacation.

The Big 12 wants more exposure on the east coast.  The conference will now have bowl tie-in with the Russell Athletic Bowl:

 

Russell Athletic Bowl > Home

 

Additionally, Charlie Strong does have connections with recruiting the state of Florida.

Charlie kills it in FL recruiting. I would not be surprised if he was the one that pushed scheduling USF

 

And we get 2 trips to some Texas bubbas.
