Hem nailed it. There are plenty of programs where a 2-4-1 makes sense for us, and 5 or 6 elite programs where a 2-4-1 is a no-brainer. Texas is one of them.

 

And I look at this as "3 shots at Texas" too. We get 3 chances at a big program win. Let's take it. 

 

Austin's a good destination too.

I can't believe you people are whining about a 2 for 1 with TEXAS. Texas does what they want, and we are USF not FSU. On top of that, they are paying us 1.2million for the 3rd game at their house.

Yes please and thank you. 3 shots at Texas, with guaranteed money at the end.

 

Texas plays UCF in Austin (2017) and now USF in 2019.  Looking forward to seeing the Bulls come to Austin.

 

 

Has anyone with UT officially confirmed this?

Didn't see anything official from UT in there .... and I'm not trying to bust your chops but if the only source they had is the one we've got, still may not be a done deal. The BM has been known to want to be the first, not necessarily the most accurate.

Just familiar with the origin of the rumor who cares more about being first every time than being accurate every time ..... and as an FYI, that link is just a regurgitation of the Burnt Orange one .... It probably is true but as of yet, there has been no official confirmation.

Nice to see a UT fan on here talking expansion and including the words USF in it, in a positive way. These last couple years have been trying on the fan base. Hope we see a great USF team playing a great Texas team in 2019.
