This shouldn't be too unexpected, dude left an NFL job and was a former HC at a P5 school. I didn't expect him to come here just to be a glorified OL coach.

and, one HUGE issue last year was getting plays in late, and causing penalties and rushed plays (which usually failed).  Having someone SOLELY focused on playcalling is optimal.  Taggart has to manage the game in all facets, and will certainly calibrate Wulff when needed, but relieving him of this duty should free him to see the big picture.

Well It appears the boards concerns are once again appeased, lets hope the collective is right.

Mixed feelings. On one hand I hope this helps to address the obvious issues we had with getting the play call into the huddle on time. But Wulff has never called plays before either so has no track record.
